Tarpon delivers a range of Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls and Telecommunications Engineering services from our centralised Engineering Department located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Our team of highly skilled and experienced engineers have a wide range of professional accreditations and certifications including Professional Engineers (PE), TUV certified Function Safety Engineers, CompEx Certified Designers and various local accreditations for completing work in all of the key industry segments and jurisdictions we operate in.
Our licensed major design software includes Smart plant instrumentation (Intools), ETAP, AutoCAD, CADworx, LUX calculation software, and MCT design software, all centrally located in an 8,000 ft2 office in Kuala Lumpur. Tarpon is also a Recognized System Integrator (RcSI) for Rockwell Automation (Allen Bradley).

Feasibility studies, Conceptual design, Front End Engineering & Design (FEED) and Detailed Engineering for Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas installations including fixed platforms, FPSO, FSO, MOPU, and Mooring Buoys.
Detailed engineering for skids, packages and modules for EPF’s, FPSO’s, MOPU’s, Offshore platforms, and other Offshore and Onshore production facilities.

- Detailed Fire & Gas Study and Engineering including Fire Suppression systems (FM 200, NOVEC, INERGEN, C02)

- Detailed Electrical Engineering including System and Optimization Studies
- Electrical Engineering studies for Protection and relay coordination, Short Circuit, Harmonic Analysis, Load flow, Arc Flash
- Design of Heat Trace Systems
- EIT Design of complete Modular Buildings, E-Houses, Local Equipment Rooms, Field Auxiliary Rooms, Control Rooms and Offshore accommodation facilities.
